Past Work

For over 20 years, Jeff was a corporate marketer, managing global teams for a variety of companies. While coaching his two kids in hockey, he began to think about becoming a teacher. Jeff substituted at Benilde, Blake, and Saint Louis Park schools before making the jump to becoming a 5th-grade co-teacher of math, science, and language arts at Breakaway Academy in Chaska.

A Favorite Teaching Experience

Jeff enjoyed teaching the "The Stock Market Game" and "Lifetime Outdoor Activities" enrichment clusters. He had a great time watching students acquire skills and understanding ideas that they might not normally receive in a standard school setting.

Personal Life

Jeff has always enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and music. When Jeff is not playing soccer, hockey, or going cycling, skiing or snowboarding, he is jamming in the basement with his guitar or hiking the beautiful state parks of Minnesota.
