Anna is a health and movement teacher who works with all Arete students in L.I.F.E. class and during movement breaks to learn all about how our bodies and minds work and the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle. During movement breaks, Anna works with students to explore different physical activities outside of the classroom setting.
Anna believes all students can find enjoyment and success in some sort of activity that gets the body moving! She believes these activities contribute to overall well-being and more success in the classroom.
Anna received her BS in physical education and health at Winona State University in Winona, MN and went on to earn her Master’s degree in health, physical education, and recreation at Emporia State University. Outside of school, she enjoys teaching fitness and yoga classes and loves to travel!
